The Employer Sponsored visa programs enable local Australian businesses to fill skilled positions when they have been unable to fill a skilled position locally. The Employer Sponsored visa allows Australian employers to sponsor specific skilled labour to serve their business needs. It also allows the skilled workforce of a foreign country to explore their employment options with Australian employers.

Here we some basic requirements for Employer Sponsored visas:

Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa allows you to own and manage a business in
Australia, conduct business and investment activity in Australia or undertake an entrepreneurial activity in Australia.

  • Employers must be authorized for standard business sponsorship.
  • Visa applicants must be nominated by an approved employer accurately executing in Australia.
  • Visa applicants must link up the skills, age, quali몭cations, and English requirements (unless an exemption applies).
  • Apply under the stream for which you are nominated.
  • Intersect with certain health and character requirements.

1. TEMPORARY SKILL SHORTAGE VISA (SUBCLASS 482):

This temporary visa lets an employer sponsor a suitably skilled worker to fill a position they can’t find a suitably skilled Australian to fill.

THE VARIOUS STREAMS UNDER VISA SUBCLASS 482:

  • Short-Term stream – 2 – 4 years, the occupation should be in STSOL.
  • Medium-Term stream – Up to 4 years, the occupation should be in MLTSSL or ROL.
  • Labour Agreement stream – Up to 4 years, depending on the terms in the Labour Agreement.
  • Subsequent entrant – Stay as long as the visa is valid.

2. EMPLOYER NOMINATION SCHEME (SUBCLASS 186)

This visa lets skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer, live and work in Australia permanently.

THE VARIOUS STREAMS UNDER VISA SUBCLASS 186:

  • Direct Entry stream – Your occupation must be on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations.
  • Labour agreement stream – The employer must have a labour agreement.
  • Temporary Residence Transition stream – You must hold a 457, TSS or related bridging visa A, B or C.

3. TEMPORARY ACTIVITY VISA (SUBCLASS 408)

This visa allows you to come to Australia to do specific types of work on a short-term, temporary basis. This temporary visa lets you come to Australia to participate in events that are endorsed by the Australian Government. The stay is for the duration of the event (up to 4 years).
